The mission and purpose of Cornerstone Baptist Academy is to assist the Christian home in providing a sound education for its children, both academically and spiritually, in a Christ-honoring and caring atmosphere, so that each child may be conformed to the image of Christ.
Cornerstone Baptist Academy is a private Christian school, utilizing the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum (A.C.E.). A.C.E. is an individualized, mastery-based, self-paced curriculum, assuring that each student understands the material he is learning before moving on to the next concept. Each student completes his work at his own pace without needing to worry about being hindered or left behind by the progress of the entire class.
Everything a student needs is contained in his PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education), which are a type of workbook in which the student receives instruction and completes activities based on that instruction. The traditional teacher role is replaced by a Supervisor. A Supervisor is essentially an overseer of the work that each student is required to complete. He monitors each student’s progress, assisting students one-on-one in any way necessary as they complete their work.
